PROJECT MANAGER
Job Summary
Manages, plans, and directs all activities related to the project. The Project Manager (PM) ensures that all project goals are accomplished according to specifications on time, within budget. The Project Manager must be familiar with a variety of the fields' concepts, practices, and procedures.
Requirements
Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Estimation and Timberline is a plus). Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and review specifications.
Supervisory skills; experience in interviewing and hiring prospective
employees required. Must have commercial plumbing contracting experience
and a solid understanding of general business operations and project
management.
Assists Project Manager with various jobsite administrative duties including coordinating purchasing of plumbing and hydronic piping products, pulling permits, requesting inspections, etc.
Requirements
Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Estimation and Timberline is a plus). Must possess a strong knowledge of plumbing, pipe fitting, and related products. Minimum of a high school diploma required. Some college preferred as well as two years experience in commercial plumbing contracting experience.
Primary responsibility is to perform all duties necessary to prepare a complete estimate for competitive bid negotiated, and design-build projects. Additionally, must receive and analyze quotes and complete bid data summary sheets, prepare clarifications, schedules, coordinate subcontractor solicitations and shall actively participate in receiving bids on competitive bid opportunities.
Requirements
Extensive knowledge of computer operations and the following applications: Trade Power, Microsoft Office applications, Timberline.
Estimating procedures and documents, pricing, take-offs, and cost breakdowns.
A thorough understanding of geometry and trigonometry, and algebraic formulas/functions. College degree required
Coordinates mechanical and electrical systems with owner, contractor and subcontractors through entire project. Designs and/or modifies layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications as related to the project scope.
Requirements
5 years' experience in a construction industry for plumbing, process piping, and HVAC.
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
Ensures accuracy of invoices, payments, and coding of expenses for company. Researches and resolves all accounts payable problems. Performs monthly accounts payable portions of close including balance sheet reconciliation work, expense reporting, and cash payment analysis.
Requirements
The position requires outstanding analytical, organizational and oral/written communication skills. Must be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines. Must have strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Excel, Microsoft Word, and Timberline. B.S. degree in Accounting preferred.
Computes and disburses wages and salaries, deductions, taxes and other withholdings. Posts payroll data and prepares routine reports and/or payments to government agencies, insurance companies and others. Calculates and processes special checks, reviews, edits and makes corrections and adjustments as needed.
Receives incoming telephone calls for a department or specific person, obtains caller's name, and forwards call to appropriate person or voice mail. Greets clients and visitors and directs to conference room or staff member's office. Provides information and assistance to clients and customers. Answers inquiries for the general public. Schedules appointments, maintains conference room schedule, receives or sends out messenger/courier items. Performs typing and other clerical duties as requested.
